The microstructure of the alloy in the solid solution state is the austenitic matrix and a small amount of TiN, NbC, and M6C phases. After a long-term aging period of 650 to 900 °C, the precipitated phases are γ ', Δ, M23 C6, and M6C.

Inconel 625 process performance and requirements:

1.The alloy has a good cold, thermal forming performance, steel ingot forging heating temperature of 1120 °C.

2.The average grain size of the alloy is closely related to the deformation degree and final forging temperature.

3.The welding performance of the alloy is good, can use the tungsten electrode or the alloy as a material for argon arc welding in the protective atmosphere, or brazing connection and resistance seam welding.

4.Surface treatment process: remove the alloy surface oxidation skin first alkali wash, and then in acid, hydrofluoric acid-aqueous solution pickling.

5.When the amount of processing is greater than 15 % when the alloy is cold processed, annealed treatment is performed after hot processing.
