Hastelloy X processes and requirement
1.The alloy has good cold, heat processing properties, forging heating temperature 1170 °C.
2.The average grain size of the alloy is closely related to the deformation degree and final forging temperature.
3.The alloy has satisfactory welding performance, can be welding argon arc welding, welding, spot welding and other methods.
4.The alloy can be added directly to the furnace that has warmed up to the highest operating temperature. Immediately after the necessary time for insulation, processing to the specified specifications. If the metal temperature falls below the minimum processing temperature, it needs to be heated again.
5.The surface oxide of the alloy and the slag around the weld weld have stronger adhesion than stainless steel. It is recommended to use fine grain sand belts or fine crystal sand wheels for grinding.
