Al-Haj FAW Motors recently announced that it will be launching Bestune in Pakistan "real soon". Bestune, formerly known as Besturn, is a subsidiary automaker under the parent company FAW Group.

The company was re-launched in 2006, with the aim of providing a middle-class social and economic class by making affordable but modern, affordable and reliable vehicles. Since then, the company has been active in the Chinese and Russian markets, where it has gained considerable popularity.

The company also has a sister automaker named Honggi, also owned by FAW. Both companies produce cars based on the old Mazda Sedans which is why, in popular opinion, cars from both companies can easily get confused. The only difference is the badging.Bestune, currently, has 8 cars on its product list, 4 of which are sedans, and the remaining 4, are Crossover SUVs.

Various reports suggest that Bestune will be introduced with the launch of the T77 Crossover SUV in the Pakistani Market. The T77 is a subcompact crossover SUV launched in November 2018 at the Guangzhou Auto Show. Since its launch, the car has only been sold on the Chinese market.

While nothing can be said about the built quality, reliability, and care in Pakistan at present.

As for the engine, the car can be powered by a 1.2 liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 141 horsepower, 204 newton / meter torque, and can be matched with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic gearbox speed automatic.

In the latest version, buyers can opt for the 1.5-liter T-GDI turbocharged inline 4-cylinder petrol engine, sourced by Hyundai, which produces 166 horsepower and 258 torque Newton Meters, and can be obtained with a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox with 7 gears.

Inside you are greeted with a state-of-the-art, Mercedes Benz like single-screen infotainment system and a cluster of tools, smart connectivity technologies like Bestune radio, AI music, smart entertainment, and smart control functionality.
