Fauji Group was formed in1954 under the Charitable Endowments Act 1890 as a Charitable Trust for ex-employee of Pakistan Army. It consists of a group of companies for the welfare of the ex-servicemen and their dependents. Growing from humble beginnings, Fauji Foundation today runs more than 18 industries, the income from which is utilized to serve about 9 million beneficiaries (5 % of country’s population).
Fauji Meat Limited – Plant Site
The plant has the most sophisticated climatized environment which is in conformance with international levels of chilling and freezing
Meat is being offered in vacuum packaging to increase shelf life and preserve freshness of the products by 90 days
Traceability and tagging of animals is done regularly using Pakistan Farming Mechanics
High Voltage Electrical Stimulation System (HVES) is integrated to ensure best possible quality and taste
Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP)
Systematic approach to sanitation and process control is ensured, namely Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) is applied along with proper Halal Certification & relative accreditation for export business
All necessary approvals, accreditation and certifications by relevant government ministries and international agencies have been obtained
We are registered with renowned local and international trade bodies to guarantee fresh meat to the customers
Services of renowned international consultants have been aquired for plant design and construction with procured equipment from world class manufacturers, conforming to highest standards of International quality
Livestock
Facility is built with the aim and capacity to deliver fresh and wholesome meat taste of Pakistan to the world around. For that matter, healthy and farm raised animals are procured from a network of sourcing partners region wide. The dedicated staff look to it that the welfare of animals is ensured. In lines with the Temple Grandin philosophy the humane treatment of animals is ensured by maintaining strict ethical practices. Stress free reduction area for holding animal is built for the same purpose to calm the animal down.
To ensure that distinct and unique flavor reaches the dining tables of the respected customers, the health of the animal is treated with high priority. Our highly professional vets look to it that animals are vaccinated regularly and are provided medications if required.
Farmers
We have a network of over 300 sourcing partners region wide who provide healthy and farm raised animals to us on regular basis. International breed development is also on our agenda. The farmers are selected if they meet the quality standards incorporated by us to ensure that the best quality meat reaches the customers.
