1.Introduction of  self-leveling mortar

 Self leveling mortar is used in applications such as floors when it is necessary to have a perfectly level surface that is not easily accomplished using traditional concrete smoothing techniques. Self-leveling mortar does not need to be smoothed with a trowel or brush, and cures to a hard, smooth surface that not only levels floors, but also repairs concrete cracks and other surface damage.

4. Wenhuang self-leveling mortar instructions

4.1 Dump a bag of self leveling mortar into a mechanical mixer or mixing container, and add the exact amount of water as noted on the package directions. Different types of self-leveling mortar require different amounts of water. Don't deviate from the package directions.

4.2 Mix the mortar thoroughly, making certain that there are no clumps or dry spots. If you are using a mechanical mixer, the machine will do this for you. If you are mixing in a wheelbarrow or other container, use a garden hoe for this operation.

4.3 Dump the mortar onto the floor where it will be installed. Use a concrete spreader to spread out the mortar over the entire surface of the floor. Even though it is self-leveling, there are limits to how far the mortar will travel before it begins to cure.

4.4  Apply the mortar at a 1/4-inch depth or greater across the entire floor. Lesser depths will not allow the mortar to properly level the floor. When the mortar has been installed at the correct depth, allow between four and six hours for the mortar to cure before attempting to walk on it. The mortar is fully cured in 24 hours.
