Anodically protection coolers are widely used in the production of sulfuric acid drying and absorption section. The function of anodically protection coolers is by applying anode current, so that the surface (stainless steel) which contact with sulfuric acid can be protected, then the annual rate of corrosion control in the range of 0.01-0.03mm.

Finally, hydrostatic pressure test is put up. 2.The working principle:
The working principle of the concentrated sulfuric acid equipments with anodic protection is as follows: whole equipment surface contacted with concentrated sulfuric acid is anode, one or more than one cathodes are installed, thus forming a current loop through sulfuric acid. To protect the equipments, an external anodic current is imposed, and anodic polarization occurs. The polarization potential is promptly passed via the induced passivation potential, and enters the stable passive region, then is maintained in this region. Thus, a passive film can be formed on the metal surface, which can make the corrosion rate of equipment decrease in concentrated sulfuric acid.
