Yamaha will launch the new YB-125-Z DX in the Pakistani market.
The new YB-125 Z DX will cost Rs. 163,500 and photos of the new model suggest that the bike will be supplied with the same body shape, but with other additions such as back alloy rims, single-piston disk brake on the front, and some new graphic stickers on the fuel tank.
It looks like the bike looks competitive with the Honda CB CB-125 F. However, the CB-125 F is a more powerful bike compared to the YB-125 Z DX, as it is based on the older CG-125 Deluxe and has the same high-performance renewable engine. Overhead Valve (OHV), is completely overtaken by Yamaha in terms of comfort riding, as the YB-125 Z DX features a very smooth, though less powerful Overhead Cam (OHC) combined with balance-shaft, resulting in almost zero vibrations, which makes ride more comfortable.
It is also worth mentioning that the YB-125 Z DX is also much cheaper than the CB-125 F, which is priced at 187,900, making YB-125 Z DX Rs. 24,400 cheaper than its competitor. It should be noted that Atlas Honda has announced a two price increase since the start of Financial Year 2020-21, we can only hope that Yamaha does not follow in their footsteps.
Since Yamaha successfully returned to the Pakistani Market nearly five years ago, the company has been doing good business, as it has broken the strain of old tireless motorcycles and provided better options for Pakistani motorcycling enthusiasts. With their return, it is safe to say that all Pakistani carmakers both, 4-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles should take notes on their success story.
