CPEC is moving forward despite the outbreak of COVID-19. Chairman CPEC authority Lt. General ® Asim Saleem Bajwa has informed that Shanghai Electric has accelerated work on Thar Block-1. The pace of work at mining and 1320 MW power plant is satisfactory. While noting progress both in mining and power plant project, Chairman said 20% progress has been made in mining while 15% progress has been made in commissioning of the power plant.
Chairman CPEC Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa said that Shanghai Electric has expedited work on Thar Block One despite Coronavirus.
According to details, Chairman CPEC Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa said in his tweet on the social networking website that Shanghai Electric has expedited work on Thar Block One.
Asim Bajwa wrote on twitter, “Update:Shanghai Electric has accelerated pace of work despite COVID,at Thar Block-1 both in Mining & 1320 MW power plant. Progress -Mining 20%,power Plant 15%.Those interested,may apply for jobs as per ad below #CPEC #cpecmakingprogress #pakistanmakingprogress”
He said that not only mining but also work on 1320 MW power project is in progress in view of which 20% progress has been made in mining while 15% progress has been made in power plant.
He said that job seekers can also submit applications in this regard.
