ISLAMABAD: The world’s 5th largest construction machinery company, Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group (XCMG), on Friday formally launched business operations in Pakistan.
The launching ceremony was attended by almost all the major public and private construction companies, especially related to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The participants expressed keen interests in the company’s products, mainly construction machinery, physically as well as in the forms of booklets and leaflets. Two kinds of presentations were also given to the participants about the company’s operations, products and business activities.
XCMG chief representative on import/export in Pakistan Zhaiwei welcomed the participants to the opening ceremony. XCMG General Manager Guowen Long explained the marketing idea, overall arrangement and operational plan of the company. Chinese Mission Embassy Deputy Head Zhao Lijian welcomed the company in Pakistan and expressed good wishes for success in the execution of CPEC.
At the start of the ceremony, the presenter gave a brief introduction of the company, saying that Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group (XCMG) was officially founded in 1989. Since then, XCMG had stood at the forefront of the Chinese construction machinery industry and developed into one of the domestic industry’s largest, most influential, and most competitive enterprise groups with the most complete product varieties and series, he added.
As per introduction, main business of XCMG is manufacturing, processing, and distribution of construction machinery and complete equipment, special purpose vehicle, construction machinery, mine machinery, sanitation machinery, commercial vehicle, truck, engine for construction machinery, general basic components, instruments and apparatus; construction of environmental protection projects.
The participants were informed that the company had established a footing in Pakistani construction industry and providing equipment and machinery to over 150 construction companies.
With prime operation revenue ranked among the top three in China’s construction machinery industry, XCMG is one of the China’s construction machinery manufacturers with most diversified and most complete product variety.
XCMG was one of the developers and rule makers for domestic industry standards and boasts industry leading product innovation capability and the most complete parts manufacturing system. At present, XCMG is one of the most competitive and influential public-listed companies in China’s construction machinery industry.
Moreover, XCMG offered a combination of high quality construction machinery products and services and provides the customers with all-around systematic solutions including construction hoisting machinery, earth-moving machinery, compacting machinery, road machinery, concrete machinery, fire-fighting machinery, and other construction machinery, of which multiple core products such as; the truck crane, truck-mounted crane, road roller, asphalt concrete paver, motor grader, cold planer, and water tower fire truck and construction machinery hydraulic parts occupy the highest share in the domestic market.
The general manager said that XCMG had developed a marketing network with global layout and is one of the China’s biggest construction machinery exporters, with a first place ranking in the export market for multiple products including truck crane, road roller, and motor grader.
